Yeah, the boss-mooks were the Bovus Vertexes. Also, my point is that there's no plot that can be called a boss rush, bar the Yuki Yuna plot and the beginning one, and at least two of the fights were against mooks or super mooks.

Called it. I don't know where everyone seems to be getting the impression that there's only minibosses/bosses in plots. Only San's Metroid plot had purely bosses, and it only had two 'true' bosses, more or less. And one of those was a miniboss.
-The Yuki Yuna plot had the Bovus Vertexes and the Mus Vertexes.
-The Borderlands/Pikmin plot had the Bulborbs.
-The Hyrule plot had Poes, albeit unstatted.
-Twin's and USEC's are confirmed to have mooks.
-Mine will likely have kaijin and other assorted mooks as well if I have my way.
-Even the two RWBY plots had Grimm, albeit unstatted.
