"Right in one! Stephanie Harrigan, mountaineer extraordinaire. Please, call me Steph. Now, tell me, do you know where my younger brother is? I've spent three months in Newala trying to climb the biggest mountain on the planet and I'd really like to give him a big hug."
Kruger
"I wouldn't say struggling, but....well, we're looking for a replacement. I managed to get us booked in for a performance at the Tournament's after-party. We need someone on vocals, 'cause our original vocalist won't be available; they're doing a semester abroad in Angevin for a language course. See, I'd do it, but I'm on the clarinet and Elma's on the drums. And I think we have Ilse's girlfriend on the sax."
Delwyn
"No. It's just....well, you've seen guys like Orrel, Steven and Lin in action, right?"

"Hm. I was considering recruiting you to help me forge your class' weapons; traditionally, we'd let you do those, but safety regulations being what they are, they're now handled the same way as having a piece commissioned at the forges would be. I figured someone with your talents would appreciate the challenge."

At the alchemical laboratories, Rika hears a loud crash as she turns to leave, having concluded her work.
Astrea
The boy grins, his concerned state briefly negated for the moment.
"Well, allow me to introduce myself! Per Ohlson, Class 3-A! Nice to meet ya!"

You approach the white-haired Felis woman. As you do, you're keenly aware of the fact that they look very....familiar. A snow leopard's tail swishes behind the woman, and around her belt is slung some climbing rope attached to her belt with several carabiners.
"Hey, you're a Solrise student, right? You seen Stevie around here somewhere?"
Kruger
"Huh, I see. Yeah, I was doing mine on the use of music in combat. My ma would be proud, I think. So, you're wanting to join Jazz Society, huh? Thank the Sculptor."
Delwyn
Andreas sighs.
"Well, yeah but....well, Dora's just the kind of girl who's always around campus helping everybody and spending all her day training without breaks. And I feel kinda guilty mooching off her for training, so...I try to get some done in private."
Lin
"It's concerning a....particular rite of passage for young Knights such as yourself. I feel you might be interested in helping your fellow classmates. Signature weapons are a mark of those who have had their first taste of true combat and have begun to finetune and familiarise themselves with their Artes. Are you familiar with the concept?"

Oswald stares at Lagata's fireball. This isn't the stare of someone afraid of it, but more akin to a confused adult trying to figure out what their kid just dug up at the bottom of the garden.
Then he starts laughing.
"You think a pathetic fireball like that's going to scare us, the Messiahs? We were born in the shadow of the great Vlad, the original Messiah! A child like you simply play-acts at arson. We make it an artform."
"We forgot to mention that the Messiahs were.....somewhat unhinged."
You are all suddenly keenly aware that Oswald isn't alone. If your keen, honed senses aren't what makes you sure, it's the fact that a LOT more fireballs are visible on his side than on yours.

As Reeve leaves the stables, she notices a stranger poking around the area. She appears to be a white-haired Felis, about your age, and she seems to be searching for something.
Astrea
As Astrea arrives at the gym, she sees Per, who looks uncharacteristically concerned. Or, well, he would be if you knew him as anyone except one of the rowdier, louder third year students.
"Hey! You're, uh....with Class 3-F, right? Never seen you around before."
Kruger
As Kruger concludes his studies at the faculty office, having handed in his personal project, he runs into Freddie, who appears to have....also just left.
"Hey, Kruger. So, I guess you were doing a personal project too, huh?"
Arnett
As Arnett and Kruger work at the greenhouse, they are joined by Annika, who seems a little more restless than usual.
"W....so, that whole thing at Blackby. It was....exciting, but a little scary."
Lin
As Lin works her way at the smithy, she suddenly finds herself confronted with Professor Ramsay.
"Lin. Do you have a moment?"
Delwyn
As Delwyn finishes up her training at the gym, she finds a heavily-breathing Andreas, looking absolutely exhausted.
"....that should be....five laps. Oh Sculptor....I really....really shouldn't have gone for ten laps immediately....Dora's gonna kill me."

Obedience's head turns towards the final member of the Seekers to approach them.

After all, enhancing Fiends is....a challenge, to be sure. But one with my intellect should be able to do it."Obedience fixes Wisdom with an icy glare, but finds themselves unable to reply for a few moments.

Penitence, I am not done with you."With that, they make to leave the copse, Silence and Wisdom in tow, leaving Justice, Temperance and Penitence alone. When she was sure the departing trio were out of earshot, Temperance looked towards Penitence.
"...you were saving them, I assume? The villagers?" "....no, no, I wasn't, I-"Suddenly, the swordswoman puts a hand on Penitence's shoulder, making to walk away.
"...the Seekers of Calamity is not a place for those who are weak of heart, Penitence. You can trust me to keep your secret."With that, she walks away, with Justice staring at Penitence.
".....more courage than I, girl. I envy you." "....I'm just....was I wrong about the Order? They...surely this isn't right." "Hmph. Make no mistake. The Order is the enemy, Penitence. Do not forget that. The others, however, are not. The innocent deserve no part of this."With that, the determined Salis disappears into the trees, leaving Penitence alone with her thoughts.
And her thoughts were of that white-haired Lepis girl. True, a scar across her nose had changed her face, but it was one she recognised.
"...Katya. Was that.....really you? Did you....escape?"Several hours later...
The party descends back at Solrise Academy, and a whirlwind of questioning by some Order officers ensues. You tell them what you know and saw; that a group claming to be the Seekers of Calamity attacked Blackby with a mixture of Fiends and human forces. Most of the unconscious Seekers were arrested by the Order, detained to be tried in court. A manhunt for the ones called Justice and Obedience, however, continues.
The mood, however, is reasonably light. Nobody was seriously hurt by the Seekers, and Blackby seems to be poised to resume normal activities tomorrow. The mayor arranges for a gift to be made to the classes who saved his village, a reward to the tune of 2000 rhea.
Of course, you have other things to worry about. For one, the Solrise Intra-Class Exhibition Tournament is coming up.
