Mio nods as the Hunters leave.

Her own desire to go home is overwhelming.

But she can't.

Not after seeing the stakes. Yes, she COULD go home and take back her normal life, but that would be trading fighting one abomination for another type of abomination. She could be with her friends, but she would be abandoning those who needed her most.

She promised to make the world better. Not just for her. Not just for her sister. For everyone. To give up that chance would be unconscionable.

Although she wishes to go back, she knows she cannot. Not in good faith.

And so she steels her resolve.

Privately, however, she hopes Eirika, at least, doesn't leave yet. Otherwise.....her resolve would likely falter.
