((It was literally 33%. Again, if it was meant to be 33.3...%, should've been clear. Then again, action clarity seems to be an issue.))

14102
.....except I just said that most of the bosses HAVE IC-justified immunities that happen to mesh with OOC necessity, so if you want to find out their weaknesses, that is what you have Sachi for.

14103
I'm not arguing anything about the bosses themselves or how they're statted, I'm arguing chargen issues.

We should know that x ability is too OP to work on any boss (see:Demi, which seems to have been noped on OOC grounds so far given that other magic has worked just fine) without having to test it on an actual boss first.
And I'm declaring that's unecessary, because single-unit (i.e. Trespasser, Libra and Pisces Vertexes) bosses are far more powerful and have more immunities thus far in general than the smaller ones (Bovus and Mus Vertexes). IC, explained by sheer power and eldritchness. OOC, necessity.

I shouldn't be having to ask people to tailor their skills to bosses or my bosses to skills because part of the point of a boss is that what it has is unknown to you until it starts lashing out and killing you as opposed to the mooks. I mean, there will be a bestiary compiled as I said already, but I'm standing by my viewpoint that there is no point trying to find out boss weaknesses prior simply because that defeats part of the challenge of a boss to begin with.

You have Sachi if all else fails and you have a ton of healers. Make use of your tools.

Yeah, so that part wasn't my fault then. The problem isn't that Dackly's OP, it's that most of the single-unit bosses are immune to her most powerful abilities. From an IC perspective, this makes sense because most of them, thus far, have been eldritch abominations (Trespasser or Vertex).

From an OOC perspective, it's because a petrified boss or a boss that gets chunked with no real drawback or necessary boosting is boring.

14105
Honestly, the only thing I can think is, if my skills are so OP that you have to make them never work, why let me get them?
Never work against bosses. Dackly didn't bother fighting the horde of mooks who WEREN'T immune to being petrified or Demi'd, last I saw.

The thing is, Sachi isn't even our characters, we're much less likely to remember to use her, and OOCly, we should really know this stuff in advance so that we don't build characters that turn out completely useless in boss fights (see D&G).  That's separate from weaknesses/immunities that SHOULD be learned ICly.

Stuff that doesn't work because of the [BOSS] tag (meta) is a different thing from stuff that doesn't work because of the creature type (IC), is I guess my position here.
-Really isn't my problem if you don't remember to use Sachi, then. I'm sorry to be harsh, but if you're forgetting to use the convenient tool NPC, then that's not really my problem anymore.
-No, you shouldn't be learning the boss weaknesses. They're not meant to be easy curbstomps, they're meant to be actual fights. Their immunities are in-universe immunities, not because of meta-considerations, though those may align of course.

It could even be added in as part of Sachi's scans, if you want a reason for us to know it.
And this is why you use the rather convenient Sachi scanner right there who keeps talking to you. It's not like I'm not giving you a chance to know, it's that you're not taking it.

14107
It makes the whole damn thing messy, though. Unless everyone wants to check their rolls, I won't do it, mainly because it really clutters up my rather nice template ;-;

I'm aware. And this is why you use the rather convenient Sachi scanner right there who keeps talking to you. It's not like I'm not giving you a chance to know, it's that you're not taking it.

14108
..so are both guidances stacking or is that just unfixed
Like with Boxwood's Advise, unfixed for now, but this will be taken into account in future battles.

14109
Well, all you need to know is that the boss negates Mantle of the Embrace because did you seriously think the final boss of the plot would just not target you? :P

Quick Reflexes is taken into account, but he simply does far too much damage for its effect to matter too much unless we're about ten turns in, give or take. It's being applied, Alanis is just fragile as fuck or isn't proccing at all. Sorry about that. I DO forget people's passives, though, so poke me if I do.

14110
Have you accounted for Cocoon's RES bonus?
It's accounted for, but it doesn't matter for this turn because Sandra was untargetted regardless.

I know, but I'd like to be able to see the rolls that're made in my case.

Especially because there should be rolls for multiple checks of passives.
I'm actually rather offended you'd need to know that I wasn't fudging rolls. It implies you hold no faith in me whatsoever. >_>

I don't feel it necessary unless everyone wants to know their rolls.

14111
Honestly I don't care if D&G die at this point, considering how useless they have been.  It's like a joke.
.....yes, because I'm going to make it SO easy to kill a boss that you can take a quarter of their health off instantly by yourself with no drawbacks. That would've done more damage than everyone else, Mio/Aesford's combo included, combined. >_>

14112
Well, when the Trespasser dooms the world, we know who to blame. :P

14114
Yes, yes it does need to be explicit.

14115
It doesn't say Grima's Guidance stacks on itself.
