Appearance: Standing at a massive 6’ 5’’, Ludwig’s armaments are a mixture of knightly and weapons befitting of a soldier of the Pontifica Cohors Lateran. He wears a long black cloak slung over the right side of his armor, similar in design to the knightly armor worn by the Knights of Kazmierz; personally commissioned by Ludwig for his own use. The armor is a plain silvery gray with only the insignia of Laterano embossed across the chestplate, a symbol of national pride lovingly maintained by its wearer. Across the left gauntlet, the face of a lion is carved, a gift from a family member upon Ludwig’s induction into the Pontifica Cohors and one he sought to have incorporated into his armor. His weapons of choice too reflect his dual nature as a knight of the past and a soldier of the future; on one hand, a metal shield resembling more a painted hunk of metal with the only concession to modernity being a polymer screen to view their opponent from and in the other, an automatic shotgun, his firearm and his birthright as a citizen of Laterano.

Beneath the armor, Ludwig’s frame is broad and muscular, his skin marked with scars and old wounds from years of service. His hair is gray, framing his face with a mane-like beard covering most of his face under his nose. His halo is a pale gray, and his wings are comprised of large white crystals. His eyes are an icy blue, belying their ferocious and boisterous owner’s true nature.

Profile: A seasoned soldier of the Pontifica Cohors Lateran, Remiel stands out among his countrymen. Even by the standards of certain other Laterano nationals who have since left their homeland, Remiel is rather boisterous and loud. He lives as if attempting to live up to the standards of the knights of Kazmierz, even when those very knights mostly fail them themselves with some exceptions. Remiel believes in the ideals he drums into himself every day; honor, justice and freedom. It is for this reason that he became known among his colleagues as the Lion of Laterano; prideful, even a little anachronistic, but effective. However, it is for the desire to uphold such ideals that, despite decades of service in the Pontifica Cohors, he eventually left to seek gainful employment where he might seek to further the cause he lived for, for his work in Laterano gave him no such satisfaction. Ever since, he served as a knight errant of sorts, righting wrongs and slaying metaphorical dragons, until finding himself in the service of {insert mercenary group here}.
