And so, the retreat is sounded. The party manages to push back through, with Hikari grabbing Ian and Yuri grabbing anyone else left behind as the corridor of fire rapidly shuts behind them.

The portal dumps them in the Jukai, now safe from Vertex invasion, for the moment. Yuri sighs.
"That was.......close."

The thief is still imprisoned inside Tourmaline's barrier. They seem to have already gotten back to the Taisha Base, with Fukuhara waiting outside, looking quite grim.

Same with Argent Gale. They probably lean closer to Chaotic, because their main goal is to protect humanity rather than to beat baddies up.

Argent Gale is probably on the opposite side, being Chaotic Good. Mainly because if the choice for them is to tell the law to screw off to save an innocent and follow the law to kill the villain but kill an innocent, they'd pick the former.

this is why argent gale and contagion must be buddies

Wouldn't that be closer to Lawful Neutral than Chaotic Good, though? If they're killing the baddies at the cost of civilian lives, they'd be closer to following the letter of the law than telling it to screw off. :P
