Ayane is behind her. She looks....serious, for once. She holds Eirika there until everyone else is out of earshot. Then.....
"Hey. Listen.

I know you're hiding something more than your face with that mask of yours. Chizuru's insane, but she's better at seeing things than any of us. She's on to something. I won't ask what. I don't care what it is, and I don't care if you tell me you aren't hiding anything else. I just care what it'll do to Mio.

Mio will find out eventually. She's a smart girl. You can't hide from her forever. She'll figure out you're lying to her about something. And when she finds out what, she'll be crushed you didn't trust her enough to tell her. I don't know what it is you have with Mio, but it won't matter.

And if you hurt Mio, you'll have me to answer to. I don't care where you are, or who or what you are. She's like a sister to me, and I'll stick up for her.

Ayane relinquishes her shoulder and continues walking, leaving Eirika to contemplate her warning.

As much as I like the Discworld, I think it's too much of a pain in the ass to actually include most of its stuff in game considering that the rule of narratives is a visible set of universal rules that people can exploit there.
