Hana moves so Esi's hand falls off her collarbone and away from her, without Hana seemingly noticing it.

~Battle Theme (Domain Boss)~
Party A:
Player Turn:
Mio follows up her earlier punch with another God Hand, dealing 27 damage to the Vertex! The force of her punch seems to have been cushioned somehow.

Eirika imbues herself! Her next DEX roll has 2 points added to it, and her next CON roll has 3 points added to it.

Anna deftly swipes at the Taurus Vertex with the Vindicator in halberd mode, swiftly transforming it into a submachine gun mid-way through the attack and emptying a three-round burst into the Vertex, dealing 22 damage with the attack.

Yuki decides to repeat her defense manoeuvre again, this time on Anna! Half of incoming damage towards Anna will now be redirected to Yuki.

Idou slashes at the Vertex with his kendo blade. His technique shines through despite his inferior strength, and he deals 9 damage.

Mint Gale follows up with a swift, momentum-boosted strike, but his attacks are slightly weaker than his master’s, dealing only 5 damage.

Ayane uses her incense to burn the Vertex again, dealing 12 damage with the sacred vapours.
Enemy Turn:
The Taurus Vertex retaliates by beginning to rampage,swaying its limbs around as if in a storm! Everyone is struck for 13 damage; Anna is protected as Yuki manages to block some of the force for her, however, and both of their defenses negate the damage. The Vertex is now raging!

The first Bovus Vertex attempts to go for Anna again, but Yuki manages to take some of the blow, and both take no damage from the attack. Perhaps sensing Yuki is responsible for negating its damage, the Vertex attempts to strike at her next, but her shield is too strong, as she takes no damage from the blow.

The second one goes after Ayane once more, hoping for more luck with its attack. This time, it gets lucky, hitting her for 5 health. It then attempts to swipe at Idou, but Mint Gale takes the blow for his master, taking 12 damage.

The Taurus Vertex takes 11 damage from Ayane’s Mark. The mark wears off.

~Battle Theme (Boss)~
Party B:
Player Turn:
Chryssa attempts a retaliatory kick! One of the Vertex lets go, but the other doesn’t and is instantly killed by the attack! Chryssa is now free!

The Primordial goes over to protect the Big Daddy from the rigours of battle and Embraces him, healing him for 17 damage.

Alria stabs down at one of her erstwhile tormentors with her axe, dealing 18 damage and healing herself for 6.

Ian requests Analysis from Sachi. The girl is happy to oblige.
.....alright. I can see that they have…..absolutely no defenses whatsoever. If you just keep attacking, they’ll die off pretty quickly, but you should keep yourself topped up at all times, just in case.
The Hunter then charges his gauntlets, gaining 2 damage for his next attack.

The spear-wielding Hero proceeds to cut through the Mus Vertex like toilet paper, repeating her elegant series of spear slashes on another unfortunate Vertex. This time, however, her first slash is off point just by a little bit, allowing her target to swerve aside and avoid being hit.

Alanis uses her pain and attempts to CRAWL  in an attempt to avenge her injuries at the hands of the Vertex, but can only manage to reach one. Her attack, however, kills it instantly, searing even the stardust remaining into nothingness.

The Big Daddy attempts to use a freezing Plasmid on one of the Vertex, dealing only 8 damage. He doesn’t succeed in freezing it, however.

Motya works his magic again, so to speak, and uses his surgical skills to heal Alanis’ wounds. He heals her for 14 health. Alanis is no longer critical.
Enemy Turn:
The only two remaining healthy Vertex pin Chryssa down again. Despite her superior strength, she is unable to fight them both off and is pushed to the ground again, bound by the Vertex and being dealt 10 damage.

Alanis continues being attacked by Vertex, with one charging straight at her. 11 damage is dealt from her being rammed by the Mus Vertex.

This time, the Primordial is the one attacked by another pair, as they steer clear of Motya, seemingly steering clear of the scientist’s rather large claws. They wail on the Primordial, completely oblivious to Her infinite nature, but dealing this portion of the Primordial 13 damage.

A single Mus Vertex throws itself at the spear Hero, dealing 9 damage to the beleaguered girl.

Motya and It that Embraces regenerate their wounds, gaining 7 and 6 HP respectively.

~Battle Theme (Fierce Battle)~
Party C:
Player Turn:
Hikari continues her onslaught, dealing 25 damage with her arrows of light.

Tink makes one more attempt at using his detonator, pulling himself off of his backside. However, his confusion leads him to trip over a nearby root and hurt himself again, fortunately dealing only 1 damage to himself. He can feel his head clear now, at least. If it’s any consolation, he also summons another Overclocker to the field.

”Taste our righteous fury! Dragon Lotus Strike!”
Chizuru continues HER onslaught, dealing 25 damage. The force of her Dragon Lotus Burst seems to have been reduced somehow.

The Overclockers sit there, awaiting orders.

Garnt, still unconvinced, attempts a two-hit combo on the Vertex! The barrier flickers at each strike, and all of his damage is negated again.

Sandra finishes applying the bandage and is ready for action now.

Periw recovers from her stun, as her turret fires for her, dealing 5 damage. In defense of its creator, the Large Robonoid charges the large Vertex, but his damage is negated by the same barrier that has blocked Garnt’s stabs and the attacks of the Overclockers.

The Fel Cannon roars into action with its master’s return to sanity and unloads a shot into the Vertex. This shot deals 6 damage!
Enemy Turn:
The Pisces Vertex retaliates by blasting the team with a series of multicoloured rays again…
Tink is hit for 8 damage.
Periw is struck for 18 damage.
Sandra is struck for 12 damage.
Overclocker 1 is struck and destroyed instantly!
Garnt is struck for 34 damage!

Satisfied with the damage, it blasts Hikari next, dealing 10 damage.

Finally, it blasts the Large Robonoid once. Mercifully, the attack only deals 6 damage.

The barrier around it flickers and the colour within it swirls. The atmosphere seems to have changed somehow….

The Vertex is damaged by the burns of Chizuru’s spell, taking 8 damage.
Chizuru heals 7 health from the bandage.

If I ask for an action from someone who's stunned or on cooldown, please smack me in the face and remind me about it. It's hard to do so many people at once for a turn. ;-;
