« on: December 21, 2015, 11:25:33 am »Spoiler: Kazahana 'Hana' Shirogane (click to show/hide)
Name: Take a wild guess.
Sex/Gender: Female
Age: 15-16 in appearance, probably as old as the first video game
Appearance: Not too lazy, for once, but I thought it appropriate.
Backstory: Knowledge spirits are just one type of spirit that roam the great world of many spirits who roam around the world, embodying various things from the breath of a newborn baby to the light of a summer's day. Of course, knowledge spirits are far less specific and somewhat more powerful, encompassing knowledge of various subjects; there are those who are knowledgeable in military tactics and just as many knowledgeable in the art of gourmet cooking. Hana is a fairly new kind of spirit- one born into the knowledge of video games.
Her true origins lie not in some great sort of mighty birth ritual involving the sacrifice of a thousand shovelware cartridges- as apt as that may be- but in the humble birth of the first video game console. Back then, Hana was but a small spark in the spiritual world, not even whole enough to comprise a minuscule wisp of consciousness. As more video games, innovations in gaming and general technological advances came along, Hana grew in strength and knowledge, absorbing more and more knowledge into herself until she was strong enough to become the first gaming knowledge spirit. All the time, the growing spirit kept an eye on the human world and their games, always watching them and wishing one day she could play them herself. Eventually, as with all spirits, she came into the world on her own, and immediately set off to do something for herself.
Her birth into the world was uneventful. A pink-haired girl- her form taken after a character Hana had taken a liking to- was found on the footsteps of two old men who had wanted children of their own, but due to the nature of their relationship, could never have any. When they took her in, they asked her what her name was. Hana, lacking a name at the time, decided to combine together a name from a rather interesting RPG series and one character she rather liked. She learned quickly; mainly the basics, and due to her nature as a knowledge spirit, it wasn't hard for her to amass knowledge at all, even if it was not gaming-related. Of course, her parents loved to spoil their 'miracle child', so they called her, and so she was surrounded by the video games she loved. Eventually, Red Moon Academy picked up on this rather odd phenomenon and decided to invite her along as they tend to do to supernatural beings of a certain age.
And who was Hana to say no to such an opportunity?
Supernatural Abilities: Knows everything there is to know about video games- from their structure, their inner workings and the workings of consoles- and is incredibly skilled at video games to the extent of being often mistaken for a hacker or a computer when playing as well as making said video games herself. Of course, all the usual knowledge spirit powers: imbuing of knowledge, absorption of knowledge, immortality, short-range teleportation, intangibility and ability to shapeshift. And possession, of course, but as a last resort.
Class Choices: Programming, IT, Graphics, Music
