JNPR wouldn't know, IIRC, as they never fought Neo and don't know Yang as well as Qrow or RWBY would. Neither would SSSN. CFVY might know, but it's their word against Mercury's and the rest of the stadium's.

Basically, it's the word of about four or five, maybe six people against the word of thousands who saw the damn thing happen, with no evidence to back them up that it was sabotage and no proof to say Yang did otherwise. Even if they managed it, Cinder would be able to use it as a distraction to go break shit, so she wins either way.

To be fair, short of Neo, there's almost nobody in the setting with the power to generate illusions. You would have to prove that someone deliberately sabotaged it with their Semblance or something else. Even worse if Neo's Semblance is rare or if it wasn't a Semblance-induced illusion.

Which would be damn hard either way, considering, well, you would have to prove the presence of an illusionist.
