Indeed, Jenkins is first beset upon by two heavily armored bodyguards. Though his enchanted sword cleaves through their armor like a hot knife through butter, the demons remain standing, but clearly unsteady. Whatever magic Belphegor put in her blade, it's some strong stuff.

We were headin' down to Fiorina Street to catch the Vancia line instead, in about thirty minutes. Won't take you to Wharf Street, but it'll get you to Aviane District and you can just walk there."

Chickens would not survive a Calamity; most things that end up turning into Fiends tend to be larger mammals. Birds that would turn into Fiends would likely be things like ostriches, emus and the like. You would also have to be far older to enter Solrise; the youngest they allow to attend Solrise are eighteen year olds, if they prove to have sufficient skill and talent. However, everything else is good.
