I think the point here is that an attack on an actual HDD would literally be almost far too rare to matter as they could be shielded, have different constructions, etc.

The way you've put it is that that lucky power translates to instant-killing all robots with that power, which is the point I was trying to make. You may have INTENDED it otherwise, but you know what we saw.

Anyway, as GM, I'm going to say no to increased power against robots, that makes no sense, not every robot has an HDD or equivalent thing vulnerable to magnetism, etc, etc. Metallic beings, yes, but even then it won't be an instant kill.
