Mio is 17, but probably 18 in the next few in-game weeks or so.

Mio stares at him.
"We nearly all just died and it's the sword you care about?"

Idou walks in to wherever this is all happening.
"... Yep."
After the beat, Idou turns to someone for an explanation.

Mio is happy to give one.
"Bisnif blew a hole in the hull. Periw and I went out to repair it, while Dackly and Alan petrified Bisnif. A fight broke out over the petrification, which myself, ENG and Garnt are attempting to stop, and now we're discussing how to keep Bisnif from doing it again until we can get rid of him."

Eh. Mio would probably end up the same if she led the party. And she knows that, hence why she keeps saying she doesn't want to.

It keeps happening, though. Even freaking Samus made her lead the party temporarily.

Also, probably going to end up making a tropes page and writing some fics for this.
