The group, eventually, manages to phase through the crowd, with Marta trailing right behind 42-1 and Jarvis, and Sitri behind her group, meeting right in front of the Adventurer's Guild building, on a sidewalk near a man shilling wyvern enhancement products.

Calling it the Adventurer's Guild was a little bit of a misnomer; there were many adventuring guilds in Generia. The Wharf Street Warriors, the Heavenly Emperors, the Starlight Soldiers; all of these groups were themselves technically guilds. The name of the Guild was taken back from the old days of Generia, in the days of adventurers like Cecil, when there was only one, massive Guild that spanned the entire continent, repelling the Demon Lord's forces. Nowadays, the Adventurer's Guild was more of a regulatory and administrative organisation; they enabled people to join guilds, register new guilds, and were the necessary intermediary that turned roving adventurer guilds such as Serena's group into more fixed guilds, setting them up with guildhalls under their ownership, as well as being in charge of setting up Quests, distributing Emblems and other administrative tasks.

The Adventurer's Guildhall was a fairly humble building in a city of great stone buildings hewn out of the mountain, a building of strong oak, white panelling and a golden thatch roof; it resembled more a meadhall than an essential governmental building. The city's adventurers had been calling for a renovation for years, but often clashed with richer citizens, who didn't want such an uncouth building in the way of their view of the mountains surrounding Cizek, and airship dockyard owners, who didn't want a new tall building getting in the way of their airship routes.

"OF course we ambushed you! Cassius....he had plans to unite every gang in the city. We all thought we'd be fighting the Demon Lord! How could you kill him?"

"Look, I figured there was something fishy too, but the boss said it was his blood! And....you don't question your boss in gangs like that! That's asking to get jumped!"

Nico launches in, the enemy preparing to counter her attack with his sword.....

"I yield! I yield! Stop! I'll tell you what you want, just don't hurt me anymore!"

....well, that was anticlimactic.

"I-I don't have details on what exactly....my sisters always leave me out of planning, you see..."
