Lieselotte looks at Rosabel, not understanding why Alan is panicking.

Minako is being Minako-like.

IT is a thing, but is it like web design or what?
Depends on which part. The GCSE course, which is likely equivalent to what America uses, is a web design, computer science and programming course rolled into one.

I'll edit it.
For now, make fairly general choices. If it's a legitimate class, feel free to choose it and I'll add it to the list.
But Maths is all going to be one thing, although with sets by ability. You won't really need to worry about that.
GCSE/BTEC list is up. Not reposting because long. :P

"I believe so."

Lieselotte nods.
"Indeed."

21501
((Old enough to stand out.))
"....indeed."

21502
Lieselotte is also examining the course list on a very old-looking phone.

We have different courses depending on the school. Our school, instead of picking the much more interesting topic of the history of Medicine and early 20th century Germany, decided to pick the Cold War period.

21504
On the topic of whether to use American or British systems... who the fuck cares? It's only the electives we need to choose. (Also, in the American list, the foreign language classes don't seem to be required. They are.)
Only two years in most high schools?  Foreign languages are weird.
Eh.  There is one difference in that History is core in America but not in the UK?
That's... stupid to be honest. Everyone should be taught history.
Depends on the school, really. My school made History mandatory to around college-level. I ended up ditching it because I was sick of learning about the Cold War, which was my topic, and replacing it with Ancient History when I moved schools.

Adragis did ask me for the GCSE/BTEC course list.

Also, again, it's easier for Adragis because he's actually attending a British high school to do the British system. Besides, it's irrelevant what system is used to begin with as this isn't meant to be realistic (I mean seriously, nobody notices Lieselotte's blue hair in the mundane school) and we're going to be doing almost nothing with the subjects and curriculum except using it as a topic of conversation. So whether or not we use the American, British or Ugandan system is entirely moot.

Of course, it's ultimately Adragis' decision as the GM which he'd prefer to use.

21506
((Alright, I'll nab you the GCSE/BTECs.))
Minako and Lieselotte exist.

21507
((Although anyway it's your game, and I do advise using the GCSE/BTEC courses because those are less niche.))

21508
((IB have GCSE-level courses, IIRC. IGCSE is also at GCSE level.))

Or maybe she's from Oceania :3c
be accepting of other cultures :3c
okay
my culture involves horribly murdering sapient clothing :3c
*pitchforks*

Located in America.  Also, exchange students.
Exchange students? Who are they exchanging? :P

Also, because its easier for the GM to do what he knows over a school system he's never seen before. :P

EDIT:
GCSE Course List for Adragis-senpai. For anyone familiar with the British high school curriculum, this list is taken from the AQA Exam Board, with some taken from OCR and Edexcel boards. This is also vastly simplified from the actual courses.
GCSE (Non-Vocational Courses):
English:
English Literature
English Language
English (This is a little of both, but not the same as doing both courses.)

Mathematics:
Mathematics
Statistics
Algebra

Humanities:
Religious Studies
Classical Civilization
History
Geography
Law
Latin
Citizenship Studies (Government and Politics)
Sociology
Leisure and Tourism

Design and Technology:
Food Technology
Textiles
Electronics
Graphics
Resistant Materials
Product Design
System and Control (Basically, heavy machines like hydraulic pumps and stuff.)

Modern Foreign Languages:
French
Italian
Mandarin Chinese
German
Spanish
Japanese
Russian
Hebrew
Polish
Korean

Sciences:
Chemistry
Physics
Biology
Combined Sciences (Basically, a combination of the three, only offered to students who are gifted enough. Of course, I did this course's equivalent, so I'm doubtful about the gifted part.)

Other:
Dance
Music
Art
Computer Science
Information Technology
Physical Education (Not to be confused with Sport. This one focuses on training you on muscle anatomy and nutrition, etc.)
Drama

BTEC Courses (Vocational Courses):
Applied Science (Think lab techs.)
Engineering
Sport (Like Physical Education, but more practical, IIRC)
Hair and Beauty
Health and Social Care
Metalworking
Mechanics (Repairing/making cars and other vehicles.)
Hospitality (Restaurant + Hotel Work, in essence.)
Information Technology (If my memory serves right, the GCSE portion focuses on use of computers for advertisements, high-level maths and so on. The BTEC portion teaches programming.)
Veterinary Studies

-No equivalent to AP/Honor students, as most courses have enough people for about three classes. Instead, the best performing students are simply lumped together in one class.
-The core subjects here are English or doing both English Lit/Lang, depending on aptitude. Science is also core, with students doing all three Sciences or Combined Sciences depending on aptitude, again. Mathematics is the last core subject, and Statistics/Algebra are supplementary. All other subjects are supplementary.

((this is what I get for doing GCSEs))
((I could post the A-Level, IGCSE and IB courses if you want.))
