A small cadre of demons appear to the left and right of the group, boxing them in. Leviathan approaches down the steps.

"If this is how it must be...."

Leviathan seems....disappointed by Yliss' response.
"...so you're fighting me for money? Must be a lot of money."

Then Jarvis. Leviathan is taken aback by how....reasonable he seems to be.
"Well. If you insist. They-"

Leviathan then tries to speak but....nothing is coming out. The vampire, for the first time in that confrontation, loses her composure more than a little bit, looking stunned. She struggles for a little while longer, trying to speak, to explain, but nothing seems to be coming out. As if the very words themselves are being stolen, quite literally, from her mouth.

Serena and Lucifer look at each other, then at the rest of the group, entirely confused.

There is something seriously wrong.
