A universe that literally runs off of rule of cool, because bored gods? Only, less in the Gurren Lagann way, with Spiral Energy, and more with Rule of Cool being an actual law of the universe?
This of course means that the villains can win just as easily as the heroes, provided they do something sufficiently awesome, hence grandiose speeches about their plans and whatnot.
