Karin doesn't even get to finish her sentence before she spotted Clara heading up behind her to pick up William and Astera backing her up with a vulnerary over her scratches and cuts. She whispers a "thank you" before turning back to the situation.

Alright, he'd be fine. He'd be okay. No need to hyperventilate. Karin breathed in and out, trying to keep her cool. No need to panic, no TIME to panic. Catherine wouldn't panic, therefore Karin shouldn't panic. Surely Karin's heroes didn't even hesitate before going into dangerous situations like this, right? If Karin wanted to be a hero, this was how it was when heroes fought.

She takes in a deep breath. Now or never. She'd analysed the situation; someone, probably Rafiel, had struck their opponent with magic, and she wasn't looking too fine, and the others were behind her, and Karin was the only person in the way. If they had any shot at beating her, she'd have to strike first, make her lower her guard for the others to get a hit in, and get out of there before she got too badly scratched up.

The athlete in question went on to become an instructor at Burhardt Reddig Training Center, where he currently sits as head of staff and participated in the recent strike over the training center wages.

Keith chucks this particular Falkar, if anyone had been recording, roughly about 40 meters away with a feat of pure vampiric strength, luck, quirks of Falkar biology and just plain insanity, smashing it into a tree somewhere in the adjacent forest.

Meanwhile, another Falkar attacks Rena.

Some of the most iconic parts of the anime Rena had stolen the face of the most famous character from involves said character bathing in the blood of her enemies to protect her love interest. Now, Rena and Rosencrantz aren't exactly love interests, but it wasn't THAT long ago that she had completely endeavoured to get Rosencrantz all to herself, by any means possible, even if it meant kidnapping. She wasn't going to hurt Rosencrantz, no, but....such an obsession wasn't healthy.

Now, while this was no longer her intention, it wasn't easy to let go of something like that. And she still didn't want to see Rosencrantz get hurt. And as much as she'd hate to claim it, her mind was just a little bit too much like Rem's.

Needless to say, a Falkar isn't just killed, it's obliterated, and Serena swears she sees Rena manifest a single horn from her head for a minute there.
