"A lot of Revivians, huh? Fair enough."

2687
"Huh, I see. My group and I were, uh...just taking in the sights of Begnin. We were on our way up to Morcia."

2688
”Rosencrantz, huh? So, what brings you guys to Begnin?”

2689
"Don't I know it. I'm Rena, Rena Kageyama. I'm the leader of the party. As you can kinda see, I was....kind of a big fan of Re;Zero back home. Still am."
"Jeff, Don, they can eat with us. But uh....before you guys do...do you mind introducing yourselves? Especially him. He....uh....looks familiar."
Rena points towards Rosencrantz, who's busy sorting out the mess in the wagon.

2690
"Preach to the choir, they won't even let me be me back home."
"You rough up one guy and suddenly they won't leave you alone. He wouldn't leave ME alone, so I had to defend myself."

2691
"A Revivian too, huh? You're not with the cops, are you?"

2692
"Us gargoyles gotta do things more 'an the usual. Ain't nobody trust us, so we gotta do our best to do good."
Jeff beats his chest with a meaty fist. Don shrugs.
"Ya gotta take it as it comes, bruv."
"Ah, 'ere she comes now! Rena, luv! O'er 'ere!"

From behind the party, a young, blue-haired woman in what appears to be a maid uniform seems to be carrying a pile of firewood.
"Huh?"

2693
"Right, right. Name's Jeff. Short fer Jeffany."
"I'm Don. Short fer Donniann."

2694
"Them? Nah. Name's, uh, Terracelayer. Ye, sounds right. Terracelayer. Rena's out gettin' more firewood."

2695
"Long as nobody makes no trouble, we’ll be as thick as thieves, ye?”

2696
"They don’ like ‘er up there. She said it woz b’cause of some Revivian somethink or other.”

2697
"We'd 'ave ta ask 'er first, but I'm sure a buncha fellow travellers like you'll be fine in 'er book. Long as they ain't them coppers from Kaisei."

2698
"Our boss lady an' leader of our party. 'Ired us on after we kept gettin' rejected from all dem other parties because they don' want gargoyles on account of us bein' dumb as rocks."

2699
"A'ight, if yer ready ta set off! Let's move! Don, watch that wagon's back, ye? 'Member, don' want summat eatin' these lads, ah?"

Milly cracks the reins again and gets the wagon moving, with Jeff flying point and Don flying rear. It doesn't take very long to move up into Sheila Park at all.

The actual campground is exactly what you might expect. Sheila Vega Memorial Campground was established about fifty years ago, not as a memorial to the eponymous adventurer -who was still enjoying retirement on the sunny beaches of northern Penultia- but established as an memorial to the countless quests cleared by her and her party. On days when the monster concentration on the Crosswind Road was light, some Academies would visit the campground to study the methods used by her and her party, which are still taught in Academies today.

The actual campground consisted of several huts on the other side, devoted to talking about the history of the adventurer whose name graced the camp, and a large expanse of grass, with only small signs dotted around marking the limits between each area where campers were allowed to stay, large gaps between to allow wagons to pass through. Several stone wells and troughs were present, to allow mounts to feed and water to be acquired. One plot was cluttered with rubble from something else, rope barring the place from use, while another was occupied with a small camp of five small tents, a smouldering fire in the middle. Whoever the occupants are, they seem to have stepped out for a stroll.

Jeff and Don, after guiding you to the other plot, gesture to theirs adjacent, consisting of several tents like the other, currently unoccupied plot, surrounding a small campfire. A hooded figure is sitting by their fire, poking at it with a stick. The other members are nowhere to be seen, possibly in their tent.

"We'll 'ave ta check wi' the lads, but maybe we can 'ave us a big cookout for dinner, ah?"
"I dunno, Jeff. Didn' Rena tell us not ta talk t' strangers? Or woz that dem coppers?"
"Wot ya so worried 'bout, Don? These lads ain't gonna bite!"

"N-not as pets, exactly. T-they're actually just as smart as us, j-just really lazy and laidback. T-they're kinda cute and aren't too demanding, so people carry them around and they don't mind as long as they're treated well and fed."
"Um...there s-should be a hammer in the wagon."
