"Blobs really like to stack on top of each other, so I-I guess they do like getting up on top of things...."

Blobbington indeed enjoys the pattings, even nuzzling into Yliss' hand to accept the pats.

2702
"Corpse disposal requires pigs and a saw."
"....okay, then."

"Do you like getting patted, Mr. Blobbington?"
"yis"

2703
"Y-yeah, he's mine. I-I had him in my bag eating s-some garbage and wrapped up in a blanket to keep him warm. H-He must have crawled out in the commotion..."

"fud, yis"

2704
"Actually, who BROUGHT a blob with us? The little guy's kinda cute."
"W-wait, you found Mister B-Blobbington?!"

Mr. Blobbington doesn't seem all that perturbed by being poked at.
"yis"

Then Keith.
"wao lood"

2705
"yis am blobbo, is gibe fud?"

2706
"gib, yis"

The blob prepares for touching, clearly expecting to be patted, swallowing the fruit it had just been consuming.

2707
And of course, something unspeakable peers up at Keith, something so utterly dangerous, so stupendous, so fleshmeltingly terrible.

And it wobbles again, munching on what appears to be an apple.

"wao"

2708
Keith's hand feels something....wobbling? Followed by a small, muffled squeak.

2709
Suddenly, one of the sleeping bags on the floor of the wagon shakes.

2710
"Oh? T-that sounds lovely! O-of course, I'd be happy to help, e-even to help find you proper s-smithing tools, if you want!"

2711
"U-um....sure, why do you ask?"

2712
"'A'ight. 'Ey, Don! Come ov'r 'ere!"
Another gargoyle flies up behind him.

"Yeah, Jeff?"
"Wotch th' back o' dat wagon, yeah? Don't want th' lil' lady to get snatched up by summat. We're jus' escortin' 'em to th' campsite. Rena wants us back fer dinner 'n' quick, so let's 'urry up."
"A'ight, bruv, I 'ear ya!"

Two gargoyles, and relatively friendly, too. That's unusual, albeit not unheard of; most gargoyles were generally amiable types, after all.

2713
"Um....w-well, if it is an ambush, you can handle it, b-but...do you really think a gargoyle can lie all that well?"

The gargoyle, for his part, seems to be humming a tune to himself that sounds mysteriously like, to a savvy Revivian, Waltzing Matilda.

2714
"Wot ya talkin' 'bout? Sheila Park's a public site. Didn' ya read th' sign? We're jus' offerin' to escort ya up. Ya know, all friendly like."

2715
"Our lads are up th' road, campin' up in Sheila Park. If you'd like, me and m' brother could escort ya up there, just like a couple minutes up th' road. No point goin' much further, seein' as the sun's settin' and all that, and we wouldn' want ya freezin' yer arses off with them Falkars lookin' for dinner."
