Milly waves her hands about frantically.
"N-no, that's really not necessary! I-I can wait until he and your other friends are less busy!"

Serena huffs petulantly at being requested to dispense food.
"What do you think I am, a walking fishery? Ugh, fine, since you asked nicely. Sacred Ocean's Blessing!"
Serena snaps her fingers dismissively, and a small basket full of high-quality fish- to the avid fishwatcher, easily identified as the Penultian blue-bellied loach, some of the most prized fish to Generian chefs, known for its delicious, soft meat and a favourite delicacy of adventurers at the front in Penultia-, perfectly dried seaweed and perfectly prepared kelp appears.
"Before you ask, I can't just cast that willy-nilly. Mom would kill me if I kept doing that for mortals; you people are supposed to have free-will and all that and not rely on us Goddesses spoonfeeding you."
Her eyes are now suddenly on Milly, studying the merchant.

42-1 looked between Serena and Yliss, then turned to Milly.

: "What is sushi?"

What is it? I guess they do something special with the fish." Lilian had a strange sparkle in her eye, she wasn't actively showing it but she was practically vibrating with excitement, something Selene could very much feel at the moment.

"O-oh! Um....I didn't think there'd be more of you...."
"...n-not that I mind. Always happy to help."
"It's essentially vinegared rice and raw fish served together. Sometimes, people roll it up into long rolls with some seaweed and serve it with vegetables and sometimes they just serve the rice and fish."
"Sometimes they even serve it with this other Revivian thing called tofu or even sweetened eggs."

"Big ego aside and a few other MPMH, she is fine. I am not sure what are the 'standards' for gods, but she at least isn't MPMHM around wrecking things, so that's good enough."

"I....I see. At least that's.....reassuring?"

Keilee had mostly been trying to ignore and be ignored by the rest, partly because she was happy just being around Keith, and partly because she didn't want to be involved in the toenails stuff. But, when Serena mentioned making fish, she realized that she had a question that she just had to have an answer too.
"Um, Miss Serena, you said you made fish right? Do you mind if I ask you a question?"

"Yes, making fish is a miracle I can do, what is it you want?"

"That is but a small demonstration of my skills; nothing I would have learned without the aid of your tutelage, my teacher."
Truth be told, that arrow hurt, but Emma had taken worse scrapes and worse shots outside of Manoran. Also, it wasn't proper to show your pain, rather than grinning and bearing it. It was an Agreste family trait, the stiff upper lip, and Emma wasn't about to lose hers.

"I-I'm not going to bring droughts and floods to Generia b-because I don't get worshipped! I-I'm not THAT desperate for attention!"

"It's the principle of the thing! I provide you people with boons and blessings whenever you pray AND I made you people things you need to live, so a little respect and gratitude would be nice! It's like me saying "thank you" when you bring me a cup of tea, it's just polite."

"Oh, so I, Serena, Goddess of Water and everything else these mortals actually NEED to survive, get a cardboard box, but that idiot Freya gets a massive stone temple in the middle of Midgardia?! What does SHE even do that people need to live, huh?! I give you mortals fish, water and everything else but I get a cardboard box and SHE gets a TEMPLE?!"
"....you mortals never give ME any respect."

The bartender of the Wyvern's Redoubt looks up at her, shrugs, and continues cleaning glasses quietly.

"What, do you people really think we spend our entire day watching over you up there?"

: "You wish to teach me things? I suppose I have no objections, but what sort of things would you teach?"

"A-anything you might like, of course. T-there's always things you might need to know, like how rhea works, how a-adventuring works or....sports. Yes."

"I see, but MPMH worry. At least you will be doing some teaching here, and MPMH course we intend to assist you by buying those weapons."

"T-thanks. Of course, t-that would need you guys to, uh, decide what you want..."

"Very well, these terms are acceptable to me. I look forward to working for you."

Shoes, on being referred to as Marcia's horse, rears up, hooves very nearly clipping Serena in the process. He glares at the woman for a moment before snorting and shaking his head once.

"Allow me to make this very clear Serena."
"He is not my horse nor is he anyone else's horse."
"I would suggest you remember that."

"Y-yes, of course, he's nobody's horse! H-he can have all the sugar cubes he wants i-if he leaves me alone just don't hurt meeeeee!"
