Demetri might notice that a cat underneath the table of the girl next to him is staring at him curiously.

The girl herself gives him the barest hint of attention before looking back to the front.

... I'm almost tempted to have him acknowledge her for a second just to piss her off even MORE by actively not giving a shit about her. XD
Seems exactly like what he'd do, actually.

((you know what
i just have to write yukari/torimus fic now
it'd be hilarious))

((...and two dragons, a runemaster, a magic sword-wielder, the physical embodiment of hatred, and some guy.))
((And Yukari, who is lonely. AGAIN))

We could go for the idea that 'little g' gods are known to exist and the areas sacred to 'big g' God are sacred by true faith.

And in the case of real, existing gods, their holy ground is reinforced by bolts of divine retribution should you be foolish enough to village them.
Soooo.. We can't build villages in the middle of churches?
Not sure that building a fucking load of huts where you eat and take craps smack dab in the middle of where you're supposed to respect them is exactly respecting your gods :P

I'd assume the various OTHER gods would substitute their holy grounds- i.e Shinto shrines or something.

I'd assume it's because that ground's been purified due to being consecrated as a place of worship. To prevent loophole abuse, the place has to be properly designed to be a place of worship (I.e you can't just stick a shrine in for it to be holy ground, it's got to be outright purpose built).

"You guys seem really well organized. Don't you have a way of predicting these, or possibly finding Persona users? I mean, Maria-san only found me because I mentioned headaches and whispering."
"We don't know until we find the signs. And we've been investigating this for a year with no results, hence why we're grasping at straws to figure everything out we can."

"Not anytime, thankfully, and not anywhere. The Achronal Zones tend to be limited to where Portals to Achronos stand, like here and the streets around.

Our researchers think there's some sort of trigger to the dragging, but we're not sure quite what yet. We know it doesn't happen randomly, though."

"Once you have a Persona, a Shadow can target you much easier. It's how they know we move through the Labyrinth."

28182
And of course, the aforementioned 'Gods don't appreciate their worshippers being killed off' thing.

Maeve and Nia continue investigating.

28184
Probably because the Gods didn't let them or something, or some sort of ancient pact.

As powerful as Kitsune/Vampires/Dragons are, fucking with humies and mages, and fucking with outright reality warpers who could literally obliterate you from existence with a blink are two different things entirely.

Course, I'm not the GM, so anything I say is probably bullshit. :P

Kyousuke catches it.
"No. I can tell you it's a physical skill of some sort that the Shadow had, but I have nothing else."
