Name: Irka Dufalion
Gender: Identifies as female. Her true gender is unknown.
Species: Hobleni (Prefers to appear as Human or Sentu Keevon)
Description: As a Offworlding Hobleni, Irka has trained herself to project a constant appearance around her, rather than appearing as the race the beholder is a member of. She generally prefers to appear as a Human or a Sentu Keevon.
Human: She most often appears as a tall, well-dressed human woman. The gem in her forehead is a deep purple, and she has long, black hair reaching to her waist. Her clothing generally consists of an olden black trenchcoat and trousers, with a white blouse underneath.
Sentu Keevon: The gems that consist Irka's body are of the same purple her forehead gem is, kept together by red moss which others would identify as the actual individual.
Magic: Time Manipulation: In a small field around Irka, she is capable of manipulating the movement of time as she pleases.
Backstory: A fairly young Hobleni of two hundred and thirty six years old, Irka has decided to pay a visit to Nagantu after several years of journeying around the galaxy.
Name: Hobleni
Homeworld: Hobbas
Description: Nobody has actually figured out what the Hobleni truly look like, for they resemble an average member of the race of the beholder; i.e, like a dog of average size and build to a dog, or a relatively tanned human male to a human. Attempts to decipher the true appearance of the Hobleni have failed entirely, as the effect extends to video recordings and photographs, and no Hobleni has ever spoken to outsiders about how they appear to each other.
However, the distinguishing mark of a Hobleni is the large gem, often found in the middle of the forehead or equivalent area, that appears on all individuals regardless of how they currently appear, whether appearing as a Vendarian or a Lussar. Indeed, some scientists have speculated the Hobleni are actually the crystals themselves, projecting a passive psychic field that makes them appear to be something else, evolved as a survival mechanism to protect them from predation. This extends to their ability to communicate with others, which some have speculated to be a passive form of telepathy.
Hobleni are capable of manipulating their forms to stay stable and appear the same to all beholders with some effort. Most Hobleni who leave Hobbas generally tend to project this to companions as to ensure a lack of confusion and ease of communication.
