Oh, Boss Shadows run the gamut of Status Resistances. Some, like these guys, are less resistant. Others are more.

Arcana Shadows, like Loki and Izanagi, however, are very unlikely to be hit with Statuses.

Binds are far worse than that, trust me. At least Fears have a chance of being able to attack anyway.

Binds give no chance.

RNG. You can fear multiple enemies and there is a move that can do that, which is subject to the same 'lessening accuracy' effect Ma-spells are.
