Virgil gets the first hit, as Samson strikes at the nearest Shadow, a floating blob with bat wings and a broken clock for a face, for 130! damage, knocking it down with blinding speed!
Maria claps.
"Excellent! You hit it with a critical strike!
She takes aim, blasting it with her musket for 44 damage.

Biraindo counts four Shadows on him; two of the clock Shadows, two weird cloaked things with lanterns and clock masks.

Tohru points to another of the floating clock Shadows, as Norn blasts it aside with a gust of wind, dealing 139 damage and knocking it down!

The other Shadows, stunned, will attack next turn. The knocked-down Shadows will get up the turn afterwards.

Kyousuke's scan will take one more turn after this.

((For reference, Is all 8 shadows attacking Maria's group or is it 4 versus Tohru, Branson, and Evron and 4 versus Nadeko, Maria, and Virgil?))
