Description: Ao has short, blue hair- nobody can tell whether or not it's been dyed or somehow natural from the amount of radiation and Kaiju blood flying everywhere- and a sharp face. The face's upper half is obscured by an intricate blue butterfly mask that Ao has shown no desire to remove. The authorities have long since stopped trying to get them to remove his mask. Ao also has an affinity for high collars for some reason.

He has a light, athletic physique, with thin, yet strong arms and legs and a small frame that nonetheless belies fitness and strength. Indeed, Ao's frame seems almost feminine.
Background: Ao was picked up by the UMND after having been found, as eyewitness reports claim, literally climbing into a tank and blasting the hell out of one particular Kaiju during one of the conflicts in Japan. Although the Kaiju itself wasn't killed, Ao's piloting skills persuaded authorities to place them into a pilot academy, where they demonstrated skills that proved them to be placed shortly into the UNMD. However, apart from this, authorities are still unable to confirm anything about Ao's past before the tank incident or indeed their identity as a 'refugee from Kyoto', but shortages for excellent pilots have left them to simply ignore the issues behind it.

Name: FE-013 'Exalt'
Description: The FE-013 is a fairly fair-sized mech, standing at 15 meters tall. It's color scheme is blue and gold, with the boosted N-way engines being placed on the back resembling wings painted red. Rather fittingly, it's head appears to be crowned with a gold circlet, with the frontal cameras in a frame that resembles Ao's butterfly mask. It seems to give off a rather regal air, like a prince or a princess standing ready to battle.

Its main weapon, the FE-001 Nanoedge Rapier- codenamed Falchion- is stored on a scabbard at its waist, while its secondary armaments, the  two FE-008 Kinetic Blasters, are stored in compartments at the wrists. It also boasts a FE-012 Ragnell Kinetic Rifle, stored opposite the Falchion Nanoedge Rapier.
