Souji tries to catch him, but fails. Needless to say, he's pissed.

"What's wrong?"

Mitsuru chuckles. However, there seems to be a slightly sad quality to it.

"Tell me, why do you seem compelled to lie so often? I'm just curious and perfectly aware that your answer could be a complete lie."
