The only reason for that, however, is because it's meant to be a magical girls show. Literally the only reason.

And in all honesty, it doesn't make a difference, because it wasn't the main point I was talking about.

I'll ask: How many yuri ships actually come to fruition in these games? How many yaoi ships come to fruition in these games? What is the ratio of these two?

Now I can say: Yeah, exactly. That alone is sufficient evidence of what I speak. Not to mention the harem mentality kj(I mention him because he's always the one wanting to be at the center of 'em) has(where are the 'reverse' harems, eh?).
