I think therefore that we should just add a bonus to HP for END and remove STR's effect on it entirely.

Changed one of Lonne's stats after realising that it's kinda pointless for him to have a MAG bonus as his one magical ability is a fixed ratio.

I'd cite the Twilight Academy system, where you get to roll to boost your stats every so often.

If we were to adapt that to this, I'd also vote that racial modifiers don't count to it and you can't roll more than five times per stat boosting session.
