Minato looks over at what everyone else ordered for assistance.
"Hoo. Nice."
He turns over the pack Tsukasa handed him, looking over at the five generators and the healing potions he'd requisitioned. Minato still didn't think there was actually a giant mecha inside the backpack-sized device, but if Tsukasa could fit an entire suit of armor into a belt...

"Now, now, Roux, this might be important information. If nothing else, it might make it easier to attend to Kaldach's wounds. Or at least provide myself and Sharne with a reasonable idea of what to expect."

Tsukasa lowers her voice right back, this time hopefully getting the social cues right.
"Girls got to stick together, don't they? Besides, you're not the first young newbie with issues about clothing damage I've done this for."

Minato just gives Tsukasa the most smug, confident grin Faith has ever seen him give. Tsukasa, on the other hand, looks betrayed.
"E-eh?!"
"See? Girls like a knight in shining armor sometimes. Just not all the time. Now, you were saying about the thing you were going to give me?"
"Oh. Right. The gear. Well, I thought you might like a bit of an upgrade to the Gaia Armor. It's not quite something I can just install into your belt for future use; for one, I'm still testing it, working out the kinks. It should work just fine; I've tested it already, but only in simulations. Never the real thing. You get to test it for me."

Tsukasa hands over a small, backpack-sized contraption, made of black plastic and rubber, with rounded edges and what appears to be a similar crystal to the Gaia Driver's own in the middle. Minato examines it carefully as he takes it from her, tilting his head.
"What is it?"
"A little temporary exoskeleton for the Gaia Armor. I designed it based on my own Eckesachs. It'll give you a nice suit of armor for your suit of armor, amplify the force of your blows, and has some nifty armaments of its own. Nothing like Gatling guns or stuff like that, but think larger Requiem summons, and possibly a few inbuilt shields. I'd give your friends one of these, but I've just the one, and I thought it'd fit the wannabe knight in shining armor to get the suit of shining armor.

Basically, I'm giving you a small mecha in a backpack."

Tsukasa digs around in her bag, before producing three metal hexagonal devices, apparently divided into sections that seem to be kept together by something unseen, given a lack of connectors, bolts or anything visible, handing them over to Faith.
"And remember, if all else fails, pick up the lughead over there as a shield. He can take it."
Minato frowns at Tsukasa, crossing his arms.
"Good to know you have my best interests at heart too."
