"So, the temptation is placed in the hands of the one person who would never succumb." He sighs and keeps it close to him.

He knows he won't do it and he's not going to risk anyone else trying it and owing a debt or price to anyone.

Besides, he's been alive long enough to see so many of his masters and mistresses try to do the same thing and find it goes wrong.
