Cheru shakes his head before standing up. Maybe Gelid was dead but it didn't matter. Letting his anger cloud his ability to serve his charges was counterproductive.

For now, he would remain as servile as ever, his emotions aside. Just as he had always done.

Kyle runs up the stairs of the tower. Suddenly, he sees Lizzie across from him, crying as she kneels down on the floor.

Cheru nods, before grabbing a broom and sweeping the spider bot's remains.

Cheru then switches from grumpy to very silently pissed off.

He proceeds to hurl a flurry of knives at the harpy's head, prioritising removing the threat to his last remaining charge rather than rescuing someone who may well already be dead.

If Gelid is dead, then it isn't a problem. If she isn't, then healing her won't be a problem later.

He gets a glare from Cheru.
"Quit that. I have to clean that up."

"Well." Cheru then goes on all fours, building up speed to leap onto the car, or catch the spear and cling onto that failing that.

Frigid follows behind, leaping off the railing and sliding down the air as ice freezes below her to create a slide.
