Gaston stops. Then he has to be restrained by Cheru as he attempts to stab Lorenzo. Repeatedly. He's screaming curses at Lorenzo in Loirean.

Risa glares at him, before picking up Luke. "You don't have to say a thing to him."

Eina approaches. "In a short moment, the rest of our group will arrive. Your brother will be safe. You will not be.

I suggest you run when this glyph wears off. Fast."

The small trail of ice that has been snaking under Lorenzo's feet solidifies, forming a circle of complicated runes.  He finds himself unable to move or cast magic, as he is raised into the air.

Eina has arrived, her damaged book of glyphs open in hand. She isn't amused.

This time, the shouts attract Eina, who's been outside the entire time.

Meanwhile, Cheru approaches.

Gaston points his rapier at Lorenzo's throat. "You don't seem to realise you are outnumbered and outmatched, Monsieur.

Leave, while your head is intact, if not your dignity."

Risa stands in front of Luke, drawing her own laser pistols, between him and Lorenzo.

Andon looks between Lorenzo and Luke, but stays his hand. This wasn't his fight, and if he risked it, the Geist, in it's mysteriously agitated state, might emerge without him controlling it.

Cheru stares at Lorenzo. This didn't look good.
Risa and Gaston emerge from the kitchen to see this.

The Geist detects Lorenzo's hatred.....and is pleased. Andon twitches, fighting an internal battle to keep it down....and winning. For now.
Cheru looks up at the newcomer.
"Oh. Your kind." He says without any hint of emotion or meaning. He looks back down, writing in his journal.
