"Isis....Anima, am I correct in assuming this is her name now? Anyway, she was once much worse than one would think. I will level with you now...even I fear the sun-god, earth-children. I don't wish to fight....but before you run off to fight for her....hear me out. I will give you what I know, before the knower-human reveals my secrets.

"And how can we trust you, Thoth?"

"My daughter? Hathor is Ra's, not mine. And, of course, Isis, that fool, she brought in her friends to solve an issue she alone started... How quaint."

"Try me, knower-human. I fear the sun-god more than you."
Thoth is still nervous.

Hathor does nothing. She's unconscious.

Set tosses her a dirty cloth.

"Paper-demon, I know many enchantments I can curse you with. I fear neither you, nor the desert-god, nor the many-killer you bring to intimidate me."

"Don't bother. Thoth taught me it."
He raises Thoth's chin. Thoth looks at him.
"Good luck finding Ra, desert-god. I won't tell you anything."

Set looks at him in disgust, leaving him to Sen.
"You persuaded me well enough. Persuade him."

Sen succeeds and Hathor is knocked out, slumping to the floor, her hair smoking.

Thoth is pulled by the scruff of his collar back into a table by Set. Set mutters a curse in Egyptian, locking Thoth in magical, golden chains.
"Tell me where Isis or Ra are. You're mortal, for now. You'll reincarnate if you die, don't worry, but then Osiris'll have you.

And seeing as you essentially just decided to help Ra try to kill the one he loves..."

Thoth says nothing, merely looking at him.
