And now the sword from below.
Minato saw this coming. Indeed, it generally tended to be the case with these Aramitama that they would try to break his shields; his shields, after all, were his greatest asset. Swords, spears, hammers he could summon to a fight, but most Aramitama could hit harder than anything Minato could bring out, bar him bringing out something like True Durandal or True Excalibur. But his shields were unrivalled, drawn from the very fabric of myth and capable of withstanding the very wrath of Heaven itself.
So Aramitama, after figuring out he had shields, usually tried to break their way past them. But he'd learned.
Out from the corner of his eye, he could see Faith readying up a beam and Yoake preparing another attack. As for Jason, he was quick, but with quickness came the issue of inertia. He could hit hard and hit quick, but if his target moved, even with his supernatural movement it'd take him a few precious seconds to change course.
Minato knew he'd be outsped in a test of speed, but not in a test of agility; the armor slowed him down in a sprint, but he was very, very nimble at such close range, and knew how to fight well enough. He didn't need to step out of Jason's way; he just needed Jason open for a few short seconds.
Time to pull a page from good old Son Goku's book. Or rather, his staff.
Minato attempts to move backwards just enough to evade Jason's blow or force it to clip his shield instead of taking the full brunt of the impact, then summon Ruyi Jingu Bang, Wukong's extending staff, extending it into Jason's body, which should be exposed from his uppercut attempt, to shove him directly into Yoake and Faith's line of fire.
