((OK RAG YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE SO MEAN ABOUT IT
/hypocriteelf))

48782
((Well, I wish Luna luck trying to kill Hope!Kyubey. Seriously, Kyubey or not, Terelfforgottheirmameagain are damn hard to put down.))

Maria....shrugs.
"I don't actually know."
Therefore snuggles.

I now have the strange mental image of Anima dressed up like a kingpin calling up her 'associates' via mobile phone and having them address her as "boss" rather than "mistress".
The Godmother.

Does Cullodus bring Angel?  Does Angel follow?

The knocking periodically continues.
"If they and the slime are related, then he's probably small potatoes. I don't fight anymore because you don't want to put the important people in the spotlight. Go ahead and describe the guy to me.
Cullodus brings Angel with her.

[To: Anima] <So, do you have either of those? They could make your job significantly easier.>
Actually..
>Maria, if you will let me use you for a bit, I will do something.<
>Um...okay?<

Anima...[21+100!] creates an perfect semi-ethereal projection of her body, capable of interacting with the physical world using 50 mana, and does some tests, rotating her wrists and wriggling her fingers.

Maria shakes her head, dizzy but otherwise well.
"Ow....next time, warn me if you're gonna do that."
>If this works as intended, which it should, as I used similar magic to create the staff I use, I should be able to interact with the world slightly better than usual.

It is not a permanent solution, as I will revert when Miss Maria calls upon me, and of course, this ethereal projection of my self is vulnerable to damage, but it will do.<

>Not at all.<

>...actually...Hm.<

48787
>The alternative would be for her to be hurt later...<

>Surprisingly not. Unlike Abraxas, I am not angry at humanity.<

48788
>Far too many reasons for both.<

>I know, it's just that it hurts to see a good friend hurt like this, and knowing that I did it and all.<

48789
>Ah, silly me. I really should remember that, shouldn't I? Nonetheless, I assume she is going for a kind of paper construct? My skills are in astrology, healing and alchemy, so I fear I may not be able to help much, Midorikawa-san.<

>I'm not. It's just...the feeling of guilt really sucks.<

Alexander gives an affirmative grunt.

>Yes and no.<

((That's a MIND 70 for the finding and gathering, a MIND 50 for the preparation, a MAG 70 + 10 mana for animation, and a MAG 50 + all your current mana for the binding.))

48790
>If I may, there are several kinds of homunculi. I am assuming she is going for a golem, preferably of paper, yes?<

48791
Richard mentally sighs.

>Having a host allows me to interact with the mortal realm without a contractee. My physical body disappeared a long time ago.<

48792
((Nope, the first three tries are free, and then you lose twice the mana for each go, starting from 5 mana.))

48793
>Fairly.<

>No, sorry.<

>Do what I did for years after my last host died. Meditate, and occasionally mediate conflicts between the gods and various supernatural parties.<

48794
((You'd think someone would tell Maria or Arya before you store a potentially dangerous; the gangsters don't count, they were pathetic anyway; prisoner in her house.

Or, y'know, not keep prisoners where kids live.))
((Also, that's a MAG check of 90.))

48795
>Yes, I have. Elf is, again, lazy, so I don't have their plots straight off the top of my head.<

>Several times, but perhaps the Layar crisis and the resulting magical presence in the city scared them into hiding, Miss Taylor.<
