Cullodus does not permit Angel to be endangered.
Drawing another card from the page pertaining to the Minor Arcana: Suit of Swords, he begins hurling them at the Spiders, specifically at the cannon spider. He also draws another card from the Minor Arcana: Suit of Cups , and hurls it at Angel, enveloping her in shield augmenting her defences.
He then uses one on himself.
Attack: 40 Energy.
Defense: 30 Energy to Angel, 10 to himself.

Cullodus turns the page to the one pertaining to the Minor Arcana: Suit of Swords.
With a sweeping motion, he draws an ethereal card from it, throwing it at the spiders.
Attack (20 Energy).

It was a very, very feared blade, in it's day, capable of hiding its wielder, hiding them even in plain sight, lass. It wasn't without a price, though.
If I ever drew this knife, I would have to draw blood with it. It hungers for blood; you see, it wasn't a weapon I willingly took up.
I was....attacked, by some assassin, wishing to kill me. As can be told, I overpowered him and wrenched it away; he took mine, and I had to finish him or he would have killed me, see. However....I slowly realised the consequences, slowly. It lusts for blood, pleads for it, and it does not stop.
I only ever draw the knife if I must, and only to protect someone, lass. This damned knife here, was part of the reason I reformed."
