Nope.

The darkness seems to be of an entirely different nature to Cyrielle's. While her's is truly black, his....seems like there could be some light in there.

A single star, possibly.

The black shape turns....

...it's a child. A child in large armor, with deep, red eyes, but a child.

His armor seems to be made of the same metal as the sword. Nightsteel. Similarly, his cape seems to be pitch-black; or, it would be, if it had a color.

The hall looks devastated.

Blood, green, red and black, stains the floor. Rubble is everywhere; the columns to the sides of the hall are destroyed or nearly destroyed. A throne, at the back of the hall, is divided in half.

The black shape is still hunched over.
"Go on, take a nice look at my humble abode. Take a good look."

They see...a black shape, hunched over, sitting in what looks like a warped version of a once grand hall, illuminated with green fire.
"Ah. You're back. Come to enjoy the ruins?"

Around him are many dead soldiers and manticores, and warped things.
