Unless Medea is also able to amplify the temporal and spacial distortions of gravity...Still requires conscious effort, still doesn't affect magic much.

Well, if they're using bullets, that's a LOT of gravity over not much time, which needs to be turned off if someone wants to walk through it or something, so it can't be set up as a static wall.. And if they're using magic, well...that probably doesn't follow gravity.
