Medea continues speaking, as if she did not hear Darnos.

In fact, go ahead and laugh. That would further prove me correct. Which, as we both know, matters not at all to you, as you now have a broken person to twist. Or does Darnos suddenly not laugh at misfortune?

I do not care what you think yourself to be, Darnos. You are but a child, griping and sniping at the world that has oh so wronged him. Or if not, you are such a broken person, someone easily manipulated.
I know I will not hurt you by stating this. I am stating what I know or guess about you, Darnos.
And by the way, I wish you good luck with attempting to crack the facade that is me. You will find it not unlike looking into a warped mirror."
Medea doesn't even sound angry. She merely sounds as if she is stating facts which she laid down to a young child.
She then picks up her book and walks to her dorms, shrugging.
