This is the OOC thread for Rise of the Magic Girls v2.
Please post your character sheets and applications here.
We are always taking in new players and waitlisters.Keep in mind that this is not a complete reboot, but a
continuation of the original. There will be changes to the setting, but for now, sit back and enjoy the story.

Trick question, there aren't any.
So, you want to join our little party? Here's how.
Firstly; decide if your character is to be dual form or single form. Dual form gets less stats, but injuries aren't carried over to another form. Single form gets more stats, but at the cost of having to be conventionally healed first.
Name: Normal form/Magic form (if applicable)
Gender
Age
Stats: (60 points if dual form, 75 if single)*
STR- Physical strength.
END- Stamina and resilience to physical attack.
DEX- Agility and evasion.
MAG- Magical strength.
MIND-Intelligence and power to resist magical attack.
Power: What does your character do? If you think it's OP, please contact me first.
HP=([ENDx5]+[STRx2])x3
MP=(50+MIND/MAG)*5
*Stats are formatted as N/M if dual form, where N is normal form and M is magical form.
Basically, this system will take over from Emp's multiplier system. Every character is subject to mana use.
Mana is calculated by the following equation
50 (everything has 50 base mana, even Muggles)+ MAG(if magical)/MIND( if Persona/superpower)x5
(50+MIND/MAG)*5
Mana is only used in alternate forms if applicable.
Mana usage will be divided into several categories.
Manaless: These acts lack any mana costs. They are either mundane or very weak (conjuring a small illusion, moving a rock with your hand, etc) or have another, very serious disadvantage (Anima's ults are Manaless precisely because she loses a summon per ult, Ashley is unable to move after using hers, Ciro doesn't use mana in Laeveteinn because she ends up in a coma afterwards).
Minor: Small acts (blasts of wind, first tier Persona spells, basically anything that only hits small groups or single people). These will cost 5-10 mana.
Moderate:Moderate acts (short-range teleportation, hitting a large group with fire, middle tier Persona spells, etc). These cost 10-20 mana depending on the act.
MajorStrong acts (long range teleportation, high tier Persona spells), costing 20-30 mana.
Mighty Very powerful acts (destroying whole blocks, using Panta Rhei/Ragnarok/Niflheim/Samsara/Die For Me/equivalent tier Persona spell or normal spell). 50+ mana.
HP: Spells can also drain from HP instead of mana. These spells tend to be stronger, with a +10 added to the roll and from 5-6 extra damage to 10-11 extra.
All physical Persona skills drain HP.
People may also define a skill as an HP drain, in which case the above mana categorisation system applies, only with health.
For the purposes of mana, Summons use their summoner's mana/health, but summoning in itself costs no mana/health.
Summons (i.e constructs, Personae, typical summon minions, etc) have 50 starting points. There is +1 point added for every 2 MAG points (if the summon is magic-based, i.e Ciro, Anima) and +1 for every 2 MIND points (if power-based, i.e Izzy or Lucas or Persona-based, i.e Richard, Yuri).
These stats are to be divided into:
STR- Same as STR for characters.
AGI- The summon's ability to dodge and counter attacks, as well as perform acrobatics.
END- Same as character END.
MAG- Same as character MAG.
WILL- Similar to MIND, it determines how much magical or mental attack the summon can withstand. Their MAG check stands in for any MIND checks they have to perform.
HP is calculated by the same calculation as characters ([ENDx5]+[STRx2]x3). Similarly, any special conditions can be confirmed with the GM.
Finally, you can opt to have your summon contain an 'Affinity', which works similarly to elemental damage. This allows them to have an extra multiplier to their attacks based off that Affinity, and another multiplier against enemies weak to said Affinity, but they also take x2 damage (applied to the STR/MAG calculation, not the d20 roll) from the Affinity opposite. Similarly, any attacks used against enemies of the same Affinity are halved in damage.
E.G: Abraxas (void Affinity) does twice as much damage to Ciro (who cannot stand the Void). However, Ashley (void Affinity) takes less damage from Abraxas' attacks. Similarly, Ciro's attacks (Creation Affinity) do double damage to Abraxas.
