Rhadamanthys DID remember that, because the retcon doesn't work on him. He isn't part of her creation, hence Demons Run and Rhad can't do anything to each other.

"She isn't serious and it seems over the top. But a girl like her, when she is broken, she breaks hard. She will not easily be fixed....unless one of you, and I mean someone who isn't Demons Run, can reverse what has happened this day. It is probably not for the best if you try.
Maria is probably inconsolable. Nonetheless, we should try to go on."

Maria forcibly exits their grasp. Alistair is sitting down, shaking his head.
"It's no use. Big sis isn't happy, and I can't do anything! Why am I always useless?!"
He sighs, watching his sister helplessly.
Rhad comes in and goes to Maria.
"Sis...come on. You gotta open up to Anima. Ali!"
Maria continues sobbing, while Rhad sighs.
"Outstanding. You broke the Team Mom."
Maria forcibly exits their grasp. Alistair is sitting down, shaking his head.
"It's no use. Big sis isn't happy, and I can't do anything! Why am I always useless?!"
He sighs, watching his sister helplessly.
Rhad comes in and goes to Maria.

First losing Matt, then this. Not to mention Aedan's little surprise and the newcomer scaring her about her little brother.
Maria's a strong young woman. But I do not like the fact that she has been traumatized quite often of late."
