Anima merely shrugged.
"I'm sure Maria and Matt would trust you with any children we see. That is, if I don't assume protection of them first."
She giggled somewhat, as if she'd made a joke.

Anima sighed, and looked to Selina.
"If only I could separate Nuriel from Angel.

Then I would show her just what happens to those who dare touch the ones I care about. And you would too, yes?"
As she said that, there was that sad look in her eyes again, but it was immediately overtaken by a sense of contained rage.

The hooded man shrugged and walked off. No need to disturb the child.

Hestia looked to Anima.
"Is it-"
Whatever question was to be asked was answered by Anima standing up and crouching by Angel.

"I will help you, if you will allow it. I cannot stand by and allow one of my own to suffer."
She joined in the hugging of Angel.

Hestia put the pot away in her tunic, waiting for further orders.

Alistair looked at Matt.
"I dunno either."
"Neither do I."

The hooded youth returns, and he sees Matt.
"Oh, hello there, mate."

((I suppose Hestia should. She's the support, after all.))

Hestia stood over the hearth, lighting an incense pot.

Anima sat silently in contemplation. Alistair ran up to his sister.
"Sis, what's wrong?"
"Nothing. I just have to review my priorities, is all."

"Oh..."
Alistair looked a bit embarrassed.
