And it was on Despair. Which is a bad idea NOW because Udil controls the air and his wife just happens to loathe me and think everyone is a fool for not allying with him.

63677
Neutral ground being an abandoned planetoid, higher power being an Elder God who can smite everyone.

Also @Ardas it was a free for all melee which Gren only saw part of. He could reasonably assume Udil killed Thaneos by sheer dumb luck.

63678
And he's telling this to Corvus, who was there the last time all the gods gathered for a meeting.

63679
"You have not seen the hatred she bears for me. She is plotting to kill me as we speak. I will not return to Despair to council with her. I have attempted to and she decried me as a bastard and a hypocrite, before threatening to kill me. Also, an old enemy of mine has returned to the world, Aldemas. I am unwilling to return, not while my enemies control the ground, and I was there at the last Godsmeet. That was the day when Udil murdered Neyravah, and so I am unwilling to have a repeat of such an occurrence.

I must warn you of one thing. Vanida is hateful and vengeful.  She will not easily let go a grudge, as I found out, and as Az-Sho knew.

If we could meet on neutral ground...controlled by a higher power, then I would be willing to go.

If not....let it be known that the Scholar Crow, unwilling to fight he may be, will provide his knowledge to you if it comes to a battle. The Giants may not be my friend, but I will help them if it means eliminating a threat and being able to return home again."

Corvus sounded pensive and somewhat saddened by the last part of that sentence.

Eh, war between the gods?

63681
((I'll submit my sheet when I can actually use my main computer, doing this off a tablet.))

63682
What about the exkirby card?
I was the one who did it (along with GWG one :D). I knew (or rather hoped) that the average health and attack would be in the lower singles, so I intended it to be a limited oneshotter against cards that can take damage, along with the coward's way out of facing it by taking 100 points instead of playing stuff until it dies. In retrospect, I could have balanced it a little more, but who cares anymore. It looks like even ExKirby himself decided to abandon the game (I still haven't gotten the card for my second turn). :-/
I made most of my cards expecting cards in the tens. At least I found a reason my cards are good; countering ExKirby.

I was going to do this for adventure mode. I was thinking that for soldier guilds that you level them by COMBAT_HARDNESS via self targeted interaction with no usage hint.

Corvus is also behind two mighty acts and armed.

He also has many allies, most who know or think Udil is a megalomaniac.

Attacking Corvus in revenge might cause civil war.

63685
I'm still in a Pantheon. And there are more people willing to revive me.

63686
Her head turns to face Corvus through the depths of space, Seeing his expenditure of power, returning to him. "Udil will hardly stop at that, Crow... If you would like, I will grant them my protection as well. For a favor, of course. They are not my followers, so it is hardly a problem to me, outside of their possible weakening of one we mutually dislike."
"I do not ask that you involve yourself in a conflict which doesn't concern you. I will only seek your help in desperate times or should you truly wish to aid me freely, favour or no.

Gren is my ally, and so I must aid him. He has cast his lot with the giants, and so I must help them."

63687
... I love how Udil is so hilariously bad at long-term strategy and empire-building.

If he had sunk those boats, it probably would have started a vicious cycle of dwarves becoming disallusioned at his iron rule, trying to do something, and being destroyed, which is a bad thing for a Minor God like him.
Also gives Corvus a good reason to attack the only people who hate him. Defending the peoples of Despair.

63688
Corvus watched the storm, through Gren's eyes.

Gren was his ally. He needed to help him.
"I will not let that pass."

Retract an act from breaking the bond.

Act: Quell the Storm and afford the ships safe passage.

63689
Actually, considering HOW MANY TIMES I've nearly been screwed over, no.

63690
"Very."
