EC sighs and joins them.

"I used up my power to reincarnate Traurig, shield the Moon, create a weapon, give mortals knowledge, allow the fire giants to return home and seal the rift. I apologise."

63873
He walks into...a large battle raging on.

A couple of giant mecha are blasting at each other, and legions of uniformed soldiers are marching at a small group that is rapidly dying.

Above, several monsters duel, blasting energy at each other.

63874
"The Moon would withstand her, and no god would let my potential death go unnoticed. Especially considering that she has done naught to help mortals herself, save offer her body to them, and her grounds for attacking.

The Dwarf-lord...I am familiar with him. Very familiar. Without Volondor, he is nothing but sheer wrath and conquest."

63875
Never mind, I'll PTW.

PS, would it be possible to RP as someone's Retinue Member?

63876
"I do not break promises, no matter what the spiteful whore says.

Nonetheless, we must consider a planet nearer the Ring. Should Un'Girlan attack, even if we are slain, the Spider shall kill him or call upon everyone to slay him."

Corvus' tone turned dark when he mentioned the "whore". He did not know what to do with such hatred; even Udil and Aodun had only annoyed him.

63877
"Your offer is greatly accepted, if I may assist the Guardians. For they are my allies, and I must help them when I can.

I am tired of this world's gods demanding my help but not respecting me in return. I will still aid the Guardians from afar, mind, but they have simply pushed my patience already.

I do consider one problem though, here we are safe. Elsewhere, Un'Girlan may strike."

63878
You DO realize that I ALREADY helped said mortals?

I granted them Agriculture and Smithing....and I'm returning life to Despair (the fire giants). Also, reviving a visionary who tried to help mortals. And are you forgetting that there are STILL mortals in Ravenas? As much as you like to remind me that Corvus never helped Despair mortals, he did. He's just concentrating on his moon and his people more, because they still mortals and his children, essentially.

It's less paranoia and more "everyone's been a dick to me, so frankly, why should they even ask for my help?".

63879
So he ISN'T controlling everything?

Oh my god. This isn't bipolar, it's outright personality takeover! :P

63880
And of course Corvus expected this. It's still Udil, just with bipolar!

63881
Corvus continued contemplating.

"Why should I even help the other gods? Those who know me either think of me as a coward or a hypocrite. And I can't even return and aid mortals, lest the wrath of Vanida destroy me.

No gods have bothered to give me the respect that is due, nay, the respect most have, and decry me as a coward, a fool, a hypocrite, and a liar.

Even in the Guardians, Lo finds reason to disrespect me. My patience is tried.

I know it is horrible, and I cannot truly stay without helping the mortals, but nonetheless. Why should I, if all my attempts to fail or are ignored, and all that is pointed out is my creation of things that are logical to make?"

Corvus despaired. He was tired of not having any respect at all. He had only done what was needed.

He glared at Vanida with intense hatred. She was the only god he truly despised. Nonetheless, he would allow her to help if she simply let him be.

"What a reward, for a god that has been through more than most of these gods, save Udil. And even he went through most as a mortal, without power. I go through this with power and find myself worse off."

He turned to Fatianna.
"As expected. It is Udil influencing his mind. The dwarf is a megalomaniac seeking a bigger empire."

(Fatianna is allowed on the Moon until Corvus explicitly bans her from it..)

63882
Corvus watched from afar, glaring at Volondor.

"They demand my help and yet all of these gods call me a coward and a hypocrite, and a fool.

My patience is tried. What else do they demand of me? I have given what I can to help the Crowborn, myself and the world.

Tch. The respect of gods is a fickle thing. I have none for most right now, save Feros and Fatianna, who speak words that aren't accusations of foolery and hypocrisy."

63883
Why would she attack the only god she trusts?

63884
Corvus spoke to Feros from afar.

"Please, inform them that I will not return, and nor should they call upon my help, unless she repents, or unless those who call are of the Guardians.

She has tried my patience, and frankly, if she doesn't want my help, then she can stay without my help."

63885
Corvus sighed and glared at her.

"This is why I refuse to associate with the dwarves nowadays. I cannot even walk in peace without her demanding my head!

I offered mortals a choice, and yet you are still filled with nothing but hate. You never knew the truth, did you? That Az-Sho acted in self defence? Or that he was betrayed by him? Or that the mortals I allow to return belong on here? Tch. You know nothing of kindness, and I may be a hypocrite, but you are unwilling to care at all, except for your beloved husband.

But of course, you wish nothing but hatred upon me. Even though I have made no attacks against you, even though I have offered you my help, you still demand my death?

Volondor, I apologise deeply, but your wife has threatened me. I have no reason to be here. I hope you understand, you seem a decent kind. But I must go, before she strikes me dead.

Kar'Lan, I wish you luck in dealing with such a vengeful goddess. She has no sense of forgiveness in her.

Vanida, with all due respect, please shut up and refrain from angering the other gods. As I recall, you are not alone in gaining power."

The Crow's projection vanished before the Lust Goddess could harm it or Corvus.
