so this time, I will put the rotmg in a more serious, realistic spinI'll pass on this one. I never felt RotMG was supposed to be serious and gritty (having played in almost every RotMG-related game); after all, we may as well play a Magical Burst game if we want a serious magical girl RP, and there are plenty of other games that provide much the same atmosphere with similar systems out there on this forum alone. I always felt that RotMG should be one of the lighter games on the forum; after all, we're not talking about a realistic world, we're talking about magical girls shooting friendship beams, going to high school and saving the day before dinner. Realism, at least in my opinion, should never come as a priority of an RotMG RP, and I always had more fun in the first two and Rise of the Fingerlings precisely because of their utter lack of seriousness, at least at first.
