I understand, but my new question is can you stand against him when he inevitably backstabs you and goes insane from Volondor rebelling to said betrayal, turning him into a berserking dwarf who cares for no allies?

I can see that happening so soon. :P

....and Lo will probably find out that part of the reason Despair is the way it is is because of Udil. That won't be good at all.

64038
Corvus decided what was needed.

"The Ancient of Time has been thus far benevolent. Keeping him alive would be beneficial for the long term.

And Sabt Golgo will not be deprived of a powerful ally. She may yet protect the void."

He summoned up his power and attempted to teleport the Ancient onto the moon, lowering the barrier for him to enter.

Act: Teleport Vasvaldi onto the Corvid Moon, lowering the barrier for him alone, to allow him to recuperate.

64039
Corvus watched Vasvaldi fall unconscious.

"If he dies, then the Riftguard will be weakened, and more monstrosities shall break through the Rift. Sabt Golgo has already let one through, even through her eternal vigil, and if he falls, then there may be more who get past.

If he dies, then I lose nothing.

If I were to safeguard him, then the Riftguard keeps a member and the death of deities shall be reduced.

It isn't a good idea, no, but who else will?"

Corvus deliberated on whether or not to teleport Vasvaldi to the Corvid Moon (or Scholar's Moon). He considered deeply whether the consequences of whether or not leaving the Ancient of Time floating in space for any god to kill would matter to Corvus and the Crowborn, as well as Aur-Sha and the greater universe, in the long term.

I don't think it does, although as I'm only getting back into modding and DF in general, I dunno.

And to add to Vherid's suggestions:

Chrono:
Doom Desire/Prophecy: Time delayed instakill
Reverse Time/Chronoshift: Revive a single target
Temporal Rift/Chronocut: Cripple a group of enemies
Apocalyptic Visions: Crippling, time delayed kill

Most likely Sychasis will hit something on the other side of the galaxy, and probably obliterate Taeri's.

64043
Corvus looked desperately from Vanida's recall of her wyrms, and Sychasis, and at Un'Girlan.

This, to put it lightly, was when they were "out of the frying pan and into the fire".

64044
Basically, the only two gods guarding the universe just died. The only other gods who want to protect it are too weak to.

64045
And worst case scenario would be for it to COMPLETELY MISS, and for Un'Girlan to eat Sabt Golgo and Vasvaldi, and hopefully-wait, Sabt Golgo and Vasvaldi can still kill him anyway.

64046
Or Aodun, Gren and Un'Girlan kill each other in a single stroke battle.

64047
Sychasis can hurt him, Ascendants can kill him, being stabbed in the face with a knife should kill him...

64048
Either way, we can say goodbye to the only guy who can kill Aodun alone.

64049
It doesn't help that there's almost no check on editing ingame, so we could easily screw a god over by retconning an action to never have happened.

64050
Corvus watched the cannon fire at Un'Girlan, and cursed.

"No! Damned cannon!

Now Aodun shall remain unslain..."
