Assuming Bastion climbs on with her, Charlotte flies to a distance where the soldiers and villagers on the ground can't tell who's on the bird, while flying slightly ahead of her party to scout.

We want as much cooperation between our peoples as possible. If there's going to be war in six years, we want as many people as we can call on, and the Hurthlings will probably owe us a solid for helping them out so much.

Charlotte clambers on the bird, taking the literal reins.
"If I fly up over you to keep an eye on the situation, would that be okay? I see a problem however in that if I run into another one of the bird riders, I can't fool them into thinking I'm one of them."

Despite his low level, Hiroaki is fast enough to outrun even Steel Kestrel, and initiates the attack by peppering Carrot Bishop with bursts of light. Their large mass isn’t light enough to allow him to dodge the attacks, but it cushions them, as the lights fizzle with naught more than grunts of pain from his target.

Kotaro follows just after Hiroaki, Copper Haze sprinting into the field behind him and running at Steel Kestrel. The cocky player prepares to counterattack Kotaro, lifting up his foot to slam it into Kotaro’s head, but just as his foot makes contact with Copper Haze’s head, Kotaro’s avatar flickers, before vanishing into thin air, causing Steel Kestrel to nearly fall over had he not managed to recover himself, shaking his head and rubbing it instinctively to relieve pain.

“Damn, an illusion…...never mind, I can do this easily. Time to bring out the trump card! Let’s test this baby out.”
Steel Kestrel draws a small device from his back, resembling a translucent screen of some kind. Typing some commands into it as he looks around to watch out for Kotaro, a golden glow surrounds himself and his allies. He stretches his arms, the screen disappearing into pixels in his hands.
“Let’s see YOU deal with speed like this, newbies!”

Avatar Accelerator Device activated. Steel Kestrel, Ocean Duke and Carrot Bishop can now make two moves per turn.

Steel Kestrel exercises his newfound power by delivering a sharp flying kick to Hiroaki’s side, rending deep cuts into his Avatar’s side. Vermillion Sun is knocked aside from the force of the strike, thrown off balance, skittering into a nearby pile of scrap. A sharp, shooting pain pulses through Hiroaki’s side, as if two blades had cut deep into them.

Kazane attempts to locate stuff through searching through her commands, but to no avail. There doesn’t seem to be anything to do with Legion creation. The boasts start getting to her.
"Legionless, huh?"
Irritated by the boastfulness of her opponent and the futile search through her menus, she surges straight at Steel Kestrel, her arms forming into a spinning lance to impale her opponent. However, the more powerful Avatar is faster than hers and her lances meet with pale dirt before she takes a kick to her face- feeling the talons rip across her cheek- and falls backwards, Kestrel having managed to counter her strike with his own.

"My name Reseda Advance. Welcome to destruction."
Yuzuki is the next to enter the fray, encouraged by the charges of the others against her opponents and feeling invincible in this false world.

Carrot Bishop, reeling from the pain of being shot at and seeing Yuzuki running at them, retracts them head and limbs into his spherical body like a turtle. Yuzuki roars as her strikes land on them, but to no avail; the manoeuvre has rendered Carrot Bishop’s defences far higher than Yuzuki can hit at. In retaliation, the orange Avatar suddenly emits a noxious purple gas, catching Yuzuki in the mist. Her throat feels burned by the gas, and she feels suddenly weaker as the gas’ effects take hold.
Yuzuki has been afflicted by Carrot Bishop’s gas! Her Constitution, Strength and Agility are down by two ranks for two turns!

Ruy is the next to attack, charging courageously at Ocean Duke and completely oblivious to his allies being smashed around. Standing before his opponent, he gracefully prepares to fight and announces himself with as much honour as any real hero from the ages of chivalry long past.
"I am Azul Crusader, and I will play my part to defeat you with honor, heroism, and elegance! En guardia!"
Charging in, he sinks his blades into the swirling mass of brine. However, they don’t seem to have much more effect than poking a bear with a clothespin did. Ocean Duke roars and retaliates by swiping at Ruy with a watery arm; however, the boy is fast enough to evade the strike, however closely. He feels the wetness of the droplets that splatter onto his chest as a result, and Ocean Duke’s cyclopean visage gazes upon him, his single black pearl eye glaring at him.

Obsidian Bear charges into the fray! However, with no actual enemy to target, he looks a little lost in the chaos going on around him.

Hiroki, panicking slightly from being dumped into a video game, and indignant at being used as a punching bag, prepares to attack.
"H-hey, what gives? You think you can just beat us up because we're new?"
Umbral Knight turns to pepper all of the opponents with laser shots, all her guns firing in an attempt to deliver a powerful alpha strike! Steel Kestrel manages to evade the barrage of shots thrown his way, while Carrot Bishop and Ocean Duke take some. However, both of the struck Avatars seem, while slightly injured, not badly affected by being peppered with the mother of all laser barrages. Steel Kestrel merely wags his finger tauntingly at Hiroki, standing completely unharmed……

….which leaves him open to being swatted down by Midori, who had managed to crawl up on him while he was pulling off his fancy dodging shenanigans. With a thrust of her club, Midori slams it down upon Steel Kestrel, smacking him aside with ease and thrusting him into the nearby building, stunning him with the force of the blow. Judging by the grunts of pain from him, it also seems to have hurt a lot.

Ocean Duke, glaring at Ruy, emits a loud, wordless roar which deafens the boy, causing him to crouch down and cover his ears….only to be taken up into a swirling maelstrom of water, swiping and eating at his body as the massive watery monster moves towards Baobab Bulwark.
Ruy is caught in a Whirlpool! He will be damaged repeatedly for three turns or until he is freed by himself or an ally!
Ocean Duke then attempts to bodycheck Giallo, who puts up his shields and manages to catch the giant Avatar, despite being dwarfed in height. The effort pushes him back slightly, but Giallo catches him seemingly effortlessly. However, he can feel the brine eating away at his defences, slowly eroding his shields until either he gives or moves out of the way….

The fight rages on!
