Keep in mind that Persona is a prelude to Shin Megami Tensei, which DOES have demons.

Or Devil Summoner, same thing.

At least, that's what I think, Atlus isn't too clear on what games link to what series.
But eh, I retconned it so I was in the Velvet Room when it happened.
