For now, the spirit of Winterdirge lurks around the camp, waiting for a suitable vessel to return to the physical plane, after his dwarven body was....destroyed in very, very unfavourable circumstances.

Guns? Against early medieval armor? Really?
I'm not trying to be an asshole, but at the very least make them less like guns and more like magical staves, that are highly inaccurate.
